The NEXUS project is being carried out by a consortium (co-led by ARTTIC and Rolls-Royce Marine) made up of 6 recognised and experienced key players from 4 different EU member states. The consortium consists of ARTTIC, Rolls-Royce Marine AS, University of Strathclyde, GONDAN Shipbuilders, DNV GL AS, Global Marine Group and SINTEF Ocean.


Created in 1987, ARTTIC is a European provider of management services for international collaborative R&D projects. The ARTTIC group comprises several companies with offices in France, Belgium, Germany, the UK and Israel. ARTTIC's total staff adds up to about 60 persons, all specialised in the provision of advice and practical assistance in the set up and management of international R&D collaborations.

Role in the project

ARTTIC is in charge of the NEXUS Project office and provides methods and tools to support the collaboration within the consortium. ARTTIC takes up the day-to-day management and administrative task to ensure that the collaboration is working efficiently. ARTTIC also supports the dissemination and exploitation activities to meet the project goals, including the production of dissemination materials and organisation of project dissemination events. ARTTIC is the lead of WP11 and WP12.
